Dear parents /carers

This half term our learning is based around traditional tales, the children enjoyed last half term having visits from the police, fire men and the dentist. The next half term is 5 weeks long before we finish for the Easter holidays.

We would like to share that Lani won an award for Apprentice of the year in ‘Early Years’ we are all proud of her.

Dates for your diary.

On Thursday the 5th of March it is World Book Day, staff and children can dress up.

Also, 20th March it is Red Nose Day so all staff and children can wear anything Red.

We break up on Friday 27th March for the Easter Holidays, and children will return Tuesday 14th April. (We are closed Monday 13th April for a staff training day).

In the first week of the Easter holidays we will be opening Monday-Thursday 9-1 these sessions will be £10 per day, and the children will bring their packed lunch each day. The sessions would have to be paid for at the time of booking and places are limited there is a form attached to the newsletter to book any sessions these are very popular so need to be booked ASAP. Attached is a booking form.

At Little Gruffalos we promote healthy eating to the children and ask parents for children’s packed lunch to be healthy and nutritious.

A few reminders

  • When coming to preschool could you please put appropriate clothing on for the weather. Please remember to name all your child’s clothes and belongings.
  • Could you also not bring any toys from home as these will get lost or broken and causes the children to get upset.
  • If your child is not attending, could you please ring or email us as we must record this for Ofsted and the funding.
  • If your child is on working family funding please can you send your codes to preschool@ctca.org.uk as soon as you can check they don’t need updating ready for the Summer Term.
  • Could you please just bring your child’s water bottle in daily and empty, with your child’s name on.
  • If your child is not well enough to play, please keep them at home, please use the attached guidelines.
  • If your child is having their two-year-old check, could you let us know please.

If you have any questions, please ring or email us.

thankyou
